About this Job
This role is responsible for implementing category management projects across our Assortment & Merchandising (A&M) solutions, using the household tools available in coordination with other regional sales and delivery teams. As project consultant you are responsible for developing and managing deliverables with a remarkable quality guarantee.
In this role there is a high level of contact with merchandising customers. You will need strong communication skills to discuss all sides of the merchandising business with our clients, and act as a NielsenIQ expert on our portfolio. Most of your customers will be based in Brazil.

Responsibilities
• Support projects on merchandising deliveries in Brazil, with regular client contact and follow-ups on projects
• Support the NielsenIQ Sales and Delivery teams with your consultancy expertise, building a strong partnership with the defined customers and inspiring in accordance with the contractual agreements
• Analyze the situation/evolution of the category of the customer and make suggestions for improvement
• Work with colleagues in the delivery Team to provide a professional & clear response to all clients, also gathering client requirements from commercial teams
• Onboarding, training and supporting new or existing customers on merchandising products
• Compiling and delivering documentation material for methodology questions and/or frequent questions
• Be able to build optimal assortments and develop efficient planograms and space reports, supporting basic client service duties as needed, and participating in team projects and staff meetings
Qualifications
• Bachelor’s degree in business management, economics, behavioral sciences, statistics, or a related field
• Strong Category Management knowledge and experience in the FMCG industry
• Knowledge managing databases (SQL, Oracle, Visual Basic, etc)
• Solid cross-function experience
• Advanced proficiency in MS Office, particularly Excel – Pivot Tables – Power Point
• Advanced English, both verbal and written
• Exceptional aptitude for category analysis
• Intellectual curiosity and persistence to find answers to questions
• Ability to autonomously manage simultaneous projects in a fast-paced business environment
• Accuracy and attention to detail
• Desirable proficiency in planogramation tools, preferably Spaceman or MSA
