Minimum qualifications:
Bachelor’s degree or equivalent practical experience.
4 years of working experience in operations and project management, consulting, business strategy, or a related field.
Experience working with startups and entrepreneurship.
Ability to speak and write in English and Portuguese fluently.
Preferred qualifications:
Experience in an international strategy and operations role or operations management role.
Deep knowledge of entrepreneurship, with a network in the startup sector.
Demonstrated ability to work strategically in a fast-paced, high-growth environment.
Analytical and problem solving skills, and ability to drive projects forward in ambiguity.
Entrepreneurial spirit, ability to think, plan and execute resourcefully.

As the Regional Strategy and Operations Manager, you will cover the Americas region, supporting the Head of Google For Startups to run an operationally excellent organization. In this role, you will act as Chief Operations Officer to the Head of Google for Startups (GFS), helping define Google’s strategy to support the growth of startups, prioritizing resource allocation, evaluating the organization’s results to ensure effective performance, and ensuring smooth operations for GFS in the Americas including budget management, goal performance, cross-functional relationships and communications and more.
Responsibilities
Drive operating rhythm for the organization, including optimizing resource allocation, measuring and reporting progress against goals and managing business updates and quarterly reviews, in close collaboration with the central team.
Improve overall efficiency and effectiveness within the region by applying a thoughtful approach to operational processes, and manage key team workflows, agreements and payment process.
Manage marketing temporary staff, vendors and contractors budget to meet quarterly and yearly deliverable deadlines, partnering with central Strategy and Operations and Finance teams.
Work with regional, central leadership and Google stakeholders to define, launch, and drive strategic initiatives/projects and their operations as needed and alignment of goals and execution contributing to the startup ecosystem.
Manage internal communications and cross-functional stakeholders to ensure the initiatives are understood and communicated across the region.
