What will you be doing?

  • Work closely with the leadership team to set up company strategy, budget allocation, and business goals.
  • Develop a game plan for optimizing the BI platform by determining how best to use existing data analytics, architecture, and technology, and where to make improvements.
  • Could be in charge of establishing best practices for BI, data warehousing, and data science.
  • Implement and deliver effective BI solutions and coaching the team on the pros and cons of different types of analytics, data modeling, and providing mentorship on extrapolating and examining insights from large data sets.
  • Provide leadership, mentorship, and ongoing development to our Business Intelligence team, focusing on the ongoing growth of individuals and maturing the overall department.
  • Drive analysis on strategic decisions for multiple business areas.
  • Manage and adjust on-the-fly multiple inbound sources.
  • Develop analytical frameworks to empower different subject teams.
  • Identify, consolidate and deliver company-level insights.
  • Develop comprehensive analytical solutions to support our key business partners.

What does a successful candidate look like?

  • Bachelor’s degree at least (any area).
  • At least 8 years into business intelligence/strategy and planning/ Data Science /Consulting on fast-paced business or startup reality.Strong leadership capacity.
  • Great communication capacity (verbal and nonverbal).
  • Experience and knowledge in data analytics and insights.
  • SQL, Hive, Python, R, data prep, and visualization tools (Tableau, Alteryx, D3, Power BI, Qlikview) knowledge will be considered a plus.
