Supply Chain & Integration Analytics team in São Paulo is looking for an innovative, hands-on and customer-obsessed Business Analyst for its Analytics team. Ideal candidate must be able to identify problems before they happen and implement solutions that detect and prevent outages. The candidate must be able to accurately prioritize projects, make sound judgments, work to improve the customer experience and get the right things done. This job requires you to constantly hit the ground running and have the ability to learn quickly. Primary responsibilities include defining the problem and building analytical frameworks to help the operations to streamline the process, identifying gaps in the existing process by analyzing data and liaising with relevant team(s) to plug it and analyzing data and metrics and sharing update with the internal teams.
As an analytics leader in this role, your mission will be to work with Supply Chain, Transportation and Analytics Operation and Program teammates and business leaders to surface key insights from data. You will contribute to the long-term vision for the team, conduct data analyses, identify high-impact opportunities for predictive analysis and business experimentation, improve data integrity, create metrics that fill knowledge gaps, model and visualize data patterns, support data reporting needs, and analyze the quantitative impact of high-priority research, data science projects, and business experiments. Additionally, this role will be instrumental in the continued development of a reliable and scalable infrastructure for ongoing analytics and reporting in order to deliver actionable insights to business leaders. The ideal team member is an experienced analytics leader with expertise in data mining and analysis, data visualization, metrics creation, data reporting and presentation, and translating results from analysis into business recommendations. You will lead high visibility and high-impact projects collaborating with various teams across Amazon. · Bachelor’s degree in Business, Engineering, Statistics, Computer Science, Mathematics or Mathematics, or other quantitative discipline.
· Relevant experience as a Business Intelligence Analyst, Business Analyst, Statistical Analyst, or similar role.
· Advanced knowledge of data analysis and experience analyzing large and complex data sets from multiple sources.
· Demonstrated data reporting experience with exceptional attention to detail.
· Experience leading large-scale analytics projects using AWS technologies (e.g. Redshift, S3, Quicksight, etc.).
· Proven ability to mine data and use it to back up assumptions and test hypotheses
· Understanding of data warehousing and data modeling.
· Excellent, structured written and verbal communication skills.
· Strong presentation skills with the ability to communicate technical information to a technical and non-technical audience.
· Experience working with senior leaders and end-customers to define requirements and reporting needs.
· Experience in Data Science fundamentals.
· Proven ability to balance competing priorities in a fast-paced, dynamic work environment.
· Ability to work independently, as well as part of a team, on multiple projects simultaneously.
· Exceptional problem solving, project management, and organizational skills.
