Role Description: :
Come and join our rapidly growing team, work with smart and dedicated people and help develop cutting-edge technologies that will have a lasting impact on the world. We seek a data collector to dive in data science, who will ensure that… collected data is relevant and exhaustive while interpreting the analytics results. Modelling. The successful candidate will determine which model to use and what data should be used for each model, along with training, monitoring and maintaining those models. The candidate’s ability to learn quickly, thrive in the science and business environments, and optimize workflows are important to support and help GALY fulfill its mission. Salary and title will be commensurate with experience.
Here’s What You’ll do:
• Identify valuable data sources and automate the collection process
• Remove corrupted data and fix coding errors or related problems
• Pre-process structured and unstructured data
• Build predictive models and machine-learning algorithms
• Develop and maintain databases and data systems
• Train, monitor, and maintain models
• Collaborate with science teams
Required Education & Qualifications:
• Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Engineer or similar
• 0-5 years of experience
• Experience in data mining
• Knowledge of R, SQL, Python, or similar
• Strong sense of ambition and initiative. Capable of learning new techniques quickly and working independently
• A great team player with strong interpersonal and collaboration skills
Preferred Qualifications:
• Strong math skills
• Experience with office and laboratory settings
• Strong time management skills
